Stormy Glenn and Lynn Hagen are usually on my auto-buy list as good, fluffy reads. This series, though, has broken me of that habit.

There's no dramatic tension -- you know from the previous book each time who's going to be the next set of mates to be featured. There's little or no backstory on the characters and not a lot of discussion of their feelings other than about the sex. The Lady Blue's crew lands on a planet, fight some bad guys, take off again - rinse and repeat.

Unfortunately, these books read as though they are a sci-fi version of Lynn Hagen's Brac Pack books -- there's the leader's mate who's constantly hatching plans to get the other mates and himself in trouble; there's the shy and innocent mate who gets drawn into the schemes; there's the wise cracking mate who's seen the galaxy... you get the picture. But, unlike with the Brac pack, there's no emotion or tension -- no new characters/situations that add to the series as it goes along.

I get the allure of creating a series, but these stories are repetitive in the extreme.

This book is great though i will agree that it is slightly similar to lynn hagen's brac pack this series is just as good in its own right. i always anxioulsy await the next book in the series. overall though this is a great series i throughly enjooy time and time again.

What a cliffhanger. This book keeps you hopping from start to end. Gigi was getting to get on my nerves but he redeemed himself in the end. Great read.
